Advanced Therapies
Two Approaches. One Standard of Care.
Next Health offers two distinct Advanced Therapy categories: a coordinated Restoration Protocol combining plasma exchange, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and NAD+ IV therapy for systemic wellness optimization; and Joint Therapies using PRP and restorative molecules for musculoskeletal applications. Both delivered under physician supervision.

Why Advanced Therapies
The advanced restorative therapies category has a credibility problem. We built our offering around the things that actually have evidence.
Advanced restorative therapies have become one of the most overpromised categories in healthcare. Clinics across the country market stem cell therapies for conditions where there is no clinical evidence to support them, charge thousands of dollars for treatments with no mechanism, and operate outside the regulatory boundaries that protect patients in conventional medicine.
That has made the category genuinely risky for patients trying to evaluate what might actually help them. It has also obscured the fact that a small subset of advanced therapies — therapies with mechanism, with research support, and with appropriate clinical context — are legitimately valuable parts of a longevity and wellness program.
Next Health offers two categories of advanced therapies that meet that bar. The first is our Restoration Protocol — a coordinated combination of TPE, HBOT, and NAD+ IV therapy delivered as a structured program over time. This is not stem cell therapy. This is not a regeneration claim. This is a wellness optimization protocol that targets specific biological systems with therapies that have decades of clinical research behind them.
The second is Joint Therapies — PRP and restorative molecule injections for joint applications, delivered by qualified clinicians, in a clinical environment, with clear discussion of what the therapies can and cannot accomplish. We do not offer stem cell joint injections, and we do not make claims about regenerating cartilage or reversing joint disease.

What's Included
Two Categories of Advanced Therapy.
The Restoration Protocol is a structured wellness optimization program. Joint Therapies are targeted musculoskeletal applications. The two serve different patients and address different clinical situations.
Offering 01
The Restoration Protocol
A coordinated wellness optimization protocol combining three advanced therapies — delivered at select Next Health locations.
Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE)
TPE is a clinical procedure that filters and replaces the plasma component of your blood. Your blood is drawn through an IV, passed through a centrifuge that separates plasma from cellular components, and the cellular components are returned with replacement fluids. The procedure takes two to four hours under physician supervision.
TPE is FDA-approved for specific medical conditions. The wellness application of TPE in the Restoration Protocol is investigational and is not a treatment for any specific disease.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
HBOT delivers oxygen at greater than atmospheric pressure in an enclosed chamber, increasing the amount of oxygen your blood can carry to tissues. Sessions typically last 60 to 90 minutes. Patients lie comfortably in the chamber during treatment under technician supervision.
HBOT is FDA-cleared for 14 specific medical conditions. The wellness application of HBOT in the Restoration Protocol is off-label and is not a treatment for any specific disease.
NAD+ IV Therapy
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a coenzyme essential to cellular energy production. NAD+ IV therapy delivers NAD+ directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. Sessions typically take two to four hours. Patients sit comfortably during the infusion.
NAD+ is a nutritional supplement delivered intravenously. NAD+ IV therapy is not approved by the FDA for the treatment of any specific medical condition.
The Restoration Protocol combines these three therapies in a structured program over time. Specific protocol design, frequency, and sequencing are determined by your Next Health physician based on your individual situation.

Joint Therapies
Targeted biologic injections for joint applications, using PRP and restorative molecules — delivered by qualified Next Health clinicians.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections
PRP injections use platelets concentrated from your own blood to deliver growth factors directly to a target joint. A small volume of your blood is drawn, processed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, and the resulting PRP is injected into the joint by a qualified clinician. The procedure takes approximately one hour from start to finish.
PRP joint injections are a clinical procedure performed by qualified Next Health clinicians. Specific outcomes vary by patient. PRP injections are not a treatment for any specific disease and are not a substitute for conventional medical evaluation or surgical consultation when indicated.
Restorative Molecule Injections
Beyond PRP, Next Health offers additional restorative molecule injection options for joint applications. These include specific growth factor preparations and biologic agents delivered directly to the target joint by qualified clinicians. The specific molecule selection is determined by your clinician based on your individual situation.
Restorative molecule injections are clinical procedures performed by qualified Next Health clinicians. Specific outcomes vary by patient. These injections are not a treatment for any specific disease and are not a substitute for conventional medical evaluation when indicated.
Joint Therapy candidacy is determined by clinical evaluation. Not every patient is an appropriate candidate, and your screening consultation determines whether Joint Therapies are right for your specific situation.

What These Therapies Actually Do.
Both offerings work through specific biological mechanisms. Here's what each one targets — described accurately, with research attributed to the appropriate sources.
Restoration Protocol
Plasma Exchange Mechanism
TPE filters the plasma component of your blood — the fluid that carries proteins, lipids, antibodies, and various cellular debris. Published research has investigated TPE in multiple wellness applications. The wellness application of TPE is an active area of clinical research.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Mechanism
HBOT increases the partial pressure of oxygen in your blood, which can carry oxygen to tissues that ordinarily receive less. Published research has investigated wellness applications of HBOT including studies on tissue function and biological aging biomarkers.
NAD+ Mechanism
NAD+ is a coenzyme that plays a central role in cellular energy production through participation in mitochondrial function and DNA repair processes. NAD+ levels naturally decline with age, and supplementation research has investigated whether restored NAD+ levels affect cellular function.
Joint Therapies
PRP Mechanism
PRP uses concentrated platelets from your own blood to deliver growth factors directly to target tissues. The growth factors include PDGF, TGF-β, VEGF, and others — molecules involved in tissue healing processes. PRP for joint applications has been studied in clinical research for decades.
Restorative Molecule Mechanism
Specific restorative molecule preparations work through different mechanisms depending on the molecule. Growth factor preparations deliver concentrated tissue-healing factors. Biologic preparations work through cellular signaling mechanisms. The specific molecules used at Next Health are selected based on clinical evidence and your individual situation.
Specific outcomes vary by patient. Specific research findings belong to the cited research groups, not to Next Health.
What These Therapies Target
Biological Systems and Clinical Applications.
Different therapies target different biological systems. The Restoration Protocol targets systemic biology. Joint Therapies target localized musculoskeletal applications.
Restoration Protocol targets:
- Plasma composition — TPE addresses the proteins, lipids, and accumulated materials in the plasma fraction of blood.
- Cellular energy production — NAD+ targets mitochondrial function through coenzyme support.
- Oxygen delivery and tissue oxygenation — HBOT addresses oxygen availability to tissues.
- Inflammatory pathways — multiple components of the protocol have been studied for their effects on inflammatory markers.
- Systemic biological markers associated with aging — research has investigated whether the protocol's combined components affect biological aging biomarkers.
Joint Therapies target:
- Local tissue healing processes — PRP delivers growth factors involved in tissue repair.
- Joint biomechanics — the procedures aim to support joint function, though specific outcomes vary by patient.
- Pain management — many patients pursuing Joint Therapies are seeking biologic approaches to joint discomfort, though specific pain outcomes vary.
- Recovery from joint stress — Joint Therapies are commonly pursued by athletes, active adults, and patients recovering from joint strain.
