Why Vancouver
Therapeutic Plasma Exchange at Next Health Vancouver
Therapeutic Plasma Exchange draws Vancouver professionals, outdoor athletes and Pacific Northwest families to our Vancouver clinic. It is the most advanced longevity intervention we offer, and dark, wet winters and low sunlight means demand here is strong.
How TPE works
Blood is drawn, separated so the plasma can be filtered out, and returned to you with albumin and saline in its place. The goal is to reduce the burden of inflammatory proteins, microplastics and other accumulated substances that plasma carries.
The process in Vancouver
- Consultation and lab work with a Vancouver physician
- Eligibility review and protocol design
- The exchange itself, roughly two to three hours in a private suite
- Follow-up labs to measure the change
TPE is a medical procedure and is only performed after a physician has reviewed your labs and history. Our Vancouver team will walk you through candidacy honestly before anything is scheduled.
